Introducing RMS Aquitania in Minecraft!

This is a 1:1 scale build of the Cunard Liner RMS Aquitania. This build features her First, Tourist, and Former Third Class interiors.

A few things to Note about this build:
1) I recommend you use the Natural Texture Pack for full immersion.
2) I build in 1:1 scale, but building in this scale comes with limitations. Some areas may be distorted or compromised due to scale and sizing when building in 1:1. Compromises have to be made in order to complete the build so some areas may not actually resemble the actual thing. (This goes for all future builds).
3) This build does not feature cabins, engine rooms, or crew member spaces. There is dead space unfortunately, but I try my best to accurately recreate the popular venues onboard. All builds primarily focuses on class accommodations (Lounges, Dining Rooms, etc).


Short history of the RMS Aquitania
She was an ocean liner built in 1914 by John Brown & Company, Clydebank, Scotland for Cunard Line. She was a response to White Star Line’s Olympic Class Ships and the final running mate to the Cunard greyhounds (Lusitania and Mauretania). She was also the last 4 funneled liner to be in service past WW2 and the last 4 funneled liner to serve throughout the 40s. She served in both World Wars and helped in transporting troops for the war effort. She earned the nickname “the Ship Beautiful” and was beloved by many. She was finally sold for scrap in 1950 to the British Iron and Steel Corporation, ending her 36 years of service.
