Introducing SS REX in Minecraft!

This is a 1:1 scale build of the Italian Liner SS Rex! This build features her First, Special, Tourist, & Third Class interiors.

A few things to Note about this build:
1) I recommend you use the Natural Texture Pack for full immersion.
2) I build in 1:1 scale, but building in this scale comes with limitations. Some areas may be distorted or compromised due to scale and sizing when building in 1:1. Compromises have to be made in order to complete the build, so some areas may not actually resemble the actual thing.
3) This build does not feature cabins, engine rooms, or crew member spaces. There is dead space unfortunately, but I try my best to accurately recreate the popular venues onboard. All builds primarily focuses on class accommodations (Lounges, Dining Rooms, etc).


Short history of the SS Rex
SS Rex was an Italian Ocean Liner built by G. Ansaldo & Co. of Sestri Ponente, Genoa, Italy in 1931. She had her maiden voyage on September 27, 1932 but was met with mechanical problems that stained her maiden voyage. When built, she was the pride of Italy during the 1930s. She was the first and only Italian Liner to hold the Blue Riband. She had a rocky start from the beginning but had a great service career. Unfortunately, she would not survive long. On September 8 1944 during WW2, she was spotted by the British RAF and was repeatedly bombed. She endured the bombing but unfortunately, she capsized and partially sank off the coast of Yugoslavia. Marking the end of Italy's beautiful liner.
