I had no idea I would end up finishing this, let alone after a whole year of building.
Regardless, here it is. My faithful recreation of the Great Fox from one of my favorite game franchises of all time - Star Fox.
This build has a complete interior, created entirely from scratch as (to my knowledge) nowhere else in the Star Fox community has a complete interior of the ship been modeled, let alone something that looks like you could actually live on it.
Overall, I'm really happy with how it turned out. All but a couple of spots onboard have full redstone lighting, there's plenty of recreational and task-oriented rooms, the bridge is able to control the working cannons, and there's even drop bays for the Landmaster and Blue Marine. There's also a bunch of fun little references here and there that some people are bound to notice, though few will get. You know who you are.
I'm glad I went on this journey, and I'm excited to finally share it with the world.

As a Minecraft and Star Fox fan myself, this blows me away! Having recreated the likes of Star Fox Snes and even a Star Fox Zero build myself, you have no idea how happy seeing your project makes me! I get soo hyped when Star Fox gets the Minecraft treatment. There arent too many maps out there like this one unfortunately, but I know the work of a fellow fan when I see it! The Great Fox looks soo awesome with all the interiors and redstone stuff going on! Wow! Brings tears to my eyes to see stuff like this! Hopefully soon Star Fox comes out of retirement. Till then, DO A BARREL ROLL! ;)
