This map is not just a map, but a map of maps!
Using the ability to add new dimensions in the Nether Update, this map is built to contain the entire Star Wars galaxy.
For each planet, there are two dimensions, the surface and the atmosphere. To travel to the atmosphere from the surface you must go higher than the height limit. Simple jumping from the tallest tower isn't enough, you must go one block higher than that.
To travel back to the surface, look straight down and jump. In the atmosphere, moving one block will cause you to travel 1024 blocks over the surface. However, do be prepared, as returning to the surface involves falling from the world height.
Also from the atmosphere, you can look directly upwards and jump. This will take you into the space dimension. From here, you can return to the planet by pushing the button on its command block or you can travel to other planets by walking to them. This may take a long time, so, instead, if you have magma blocks, you can enter the hyperspace dimension by placing them into your offhand. So long as you have magma blocks in your offhand you will remain in hyperspace, but you will lose one every 10 seconds. When you no longer have magma blocks in your offhand, you will return to space in the location corresponding to where you have gone through hyperspace.
At the world spawn, you can select any of the current planets to make as your homeworld. You will receive slow falling for a few minutes and be teleported to that planet's atmosphere.
Currently, there are 24 planets, including all of those featured in the prequel and original trilogy. Planets which have dimensions are shown with banners on the galactic map. I plan to continue to update this map with more hyperlanes and planets.
Much credit and many thanks go to the various creators of Star Wars maps, to George, creator of the franchise, Henry Bernberg for his awesome web-based map and the editors of Wookieepedia.

Have something to say?
+The teleportation from surface to atmosphere was off by 56 blocks, that is now fixed.
+Mygeeto has had a revamp in terms of ores
+Geonosis has been changed, most notably there is no longer any plain sand, it is all red.
+Mustafar has had its ore generation updated.
For individual planets:
+Tatooine no longer has cactuses
+Yavin IV has its own biomes which are a mishmash of swamp, various jungles, and dark oak forests.
+Korriban actually has ores and stone amongst the red sandstone
For Space:
The mechanics of space travel have been considerably altered. Now, entering space does not require 9 charcoal and finding the one command block on the planet, instead, one travels to space by going higher than the height limit. A normal jump from the build limit will not get you there, you must jump one block higher.
Reaching space in this way will take you to an intermediate step: the planet's atmosphere. From here you can travel to other areas in the same planet or travel into space proper. Every block travelled in the atmosphere is 1024 blocks travelled in the planet itself. To return to the surface, stare directly down and jump, but beware! You will re-enter at the world height, so be prepared for the fall. To travel further into space, look directly up and jump.
Once in space, you can still travel to other planets rather slowly and find their buttons to travel to their atmospheres. To enter hyperspace, there is no longer a button at a given planet. Instead, you can enter hyperspace from anywhere by placing magma blocks into your offhand.
In Hyperspace, running out of magma blocks will no longer give you the wither effect but instead, you will immediately re-enter ordinary space for the point where you have reached. To re-enter space when you still have magma blocks remaining, simply take them out of your offhand. Because of this new way of reentering space, there are no longer buttons to enter the space near a planet.
+Hyperspace and space now use the sky which is present for the End dimension.
Future Plans:
I plan to change the biomes of the planets before adding new ones.
