Stranded Stranger

Wind roaring and sails ripping, the man struggles to keep his boat in tact. The storm raging on for what seemed like days, he was becoming restless. 'Twas only a matter of time before the storm would take the boat and claim it to the depths. So in a last effort to survive the man used what little energy he had left to break the mask from the sinking boat to float on. The storm raged on threw the night when finally he came upon an island, perhaps the smallest piece of land he had ever seen. Struggling to get ashore he left the mask and crawled on to hard ground and fell asleep. His mind now wanders, thinking of a way to survive.. hoping for a ship to soon pass by.. praying that the time will pass quickly.. and wondering if anyone would even remember his name if he were to die tomorrow..
