This is a Custom Terrain that I created called Straton which is basically a Hell biome, this map was made for someone in a Build Team I am in called Zach.

No it is an open custom terrain ask for me to make it has specific demensions and has custom hills and lava pools. Yes it is built with blocks that are commonly found in the nether but also has other blocks like mossy cobble, bedrock (Yes i know its at the roof and floor but this bedrock is on the surface) and obsidian (Again discounting the fact that you find obsidian nether portals in the nether). :D but feel free to try the map and tell me if you think I did a good job, I went for a hell/nether feel to it :)
