This is a sugar cane farm I made based off of ImpulseSV from HermitCraft. It uses sticky pistons and slimeblocks to push the sugar cane into a water stream and into a hopper at the end of it. Each section has 12 sugar cane and there are 12 sections so far, definitely need and want more. The redstone uses two comparators to see check when the daylight detector has a power of 15 (noon time) and then powers the block through on top of piston for a 1 tick pulse which is extended using repeaters. Then it's a simple slab redstone line upwards to power all the pistons. It's a very slow producer since it only produces like 80 per cycle. Since sugar cane is easily scaled, I just need to add more sections and make it taller.

It's very lag friendly since it only has 12 pistons moving at a time. Even if this has 36 sections or something like that, that is only 36 pistons moving.
