Woowooowooooooo it's round 3 babey! The theme CaraRose and I had to build was 'Summer', so for me that means the Mediterranean and lovely Italian villas. I went all out on detailing this build so I'd recommend downloading it and giving it an explore for yourself! (just don't try and go inside the buildings, I didn't have time to furnish them).
There was going to be a whole other level below this, consisting of a sea cave carved out into the rock, except I lost some of my progress through accidentally dropping my phone on the keyboard (don't ask) and I'm already 4 days late for the deadline (don't tell). Please enjoy it regardless!
Fun things I learned while building this:
- that light goes through closed trapdoors so you can use them behind windows to make sure you can't see that it's unfurnished inside, but it can still have light coming out of the windows
- that you can actually pose villagers with the NoAI tag pretty well instead of having to use armour stands (I used this website)
- that this process of individually figuring out the angle and positioning of each villager, and making sure that the textures for the different professions and biomes still fit into the colour scheme, is very tedious
