I love this! Your builds and environment are beautiful and really well done, and the map concept is amazing! I can’t wait to see how this map will turn out in the end, and how you will make the DLCs! :)

Dude! Thank you so much! You know your Zombie Apocalypse series was the inspiration for this map. *wink*

This map will be all hand-made. Every structure.
This map will also have a story, that you'll be completing first. The story will slowly guide you through most parts of the map. The final version will be huge. I mean it! about 2200x2200.
That's a lot of building :D. And since we're not only building, but even transforming the land (as you can see in the clipped images above in the desc.) it sure will take a long time. I have so many plans for it, however, they are still incomplete. So, if you've got any suggestions, tell us!

So when will the final release come out? Heh, not soon - for sure. But it shouldn't take as long to make as Cyberpunk (*cough* *cough* 9 years). Yeah...

About the DLC's: They will be added after the final release. The seed we used is great and has a Mushroom island and a huge mesa island nearby. You guessed it, these will be the DLCs.

But how will they connect to the story? You'll be able to download a premium version of this map, which will have these DLC's. You will be able to complete the story without them. They will just serve as 2 different sub-stories.

And I have to ask; is "The Nightmares" inspired from the group of the same name in my Zombie Apocalypse map? *wink*

I think that's quite a cool easter egg if that's the case! :)

Wow, that's the first time I've ever heard i inspired someone (no joke), and it feels good to know that!

I think you're doing the work on this map really well, and I'm impressed that you make everything by hand. A map of that size takes a long time even with WorldEdit, so I can't even imagine the time you will spend on this! I love your Cyberpunk 2077 reference there btw *wink wink*

I'm excited for this aswell. I never really play maps, just make my own, but I think I have to try this one, it sounds really exciting!

And the DLCs; I love that you do this so perfectly! DLCs like this are supposed to be a "sub-story" of some kind, and not part of the main story, which is exactly what you're doing here! Good job! And I love the fact that you have a theme for each DLC, that's also something that makes a DLC good, because it's centered around a theme and actually fits as a worthy DLC and not too out of place!

I will rate this map for you, just like you rated my Kingdoms Chapter 1, when it's done! :D (psst, Kingdoms Chapter 2 is currently under production ;)

I also take a lot of inspiration from Red Dead Redemption 2 and its wonderfully made map. With details in every corner, I aim for a completely different kind of adventure.

Yk, I like exploring in games. Just roaming around and enjoying the views of the countryside. And this map should potentially deliver just that. Even if the player doesn't have a certain goal or set destination, the map should make the player feel alive and dynamic. Some places will be locked during the day and unlocked only during the night and so on.

All I can say now, it's gonna be an awesome journey!

Thank you so much.
About the DLCs, it's obviously still a lot of work, but I like to have at least some idea planned out.
The DLCs will be also playable without completing the main story on the premium version (or whatever will it be). I mean, if you have completed the story in a non-premium one, but downloaded premium after, you'll still be able to fully enjoy the DLCs. At least I hope it'll be that easy. :D

Ps: looking forward to chapter II of Kingdoms ;)

This sounds really interesting! :D

And I looove the fact that you take some Red Dead 2 inspiration. I agree with you 100%, the map in that game is beautiful, so if you're going in that direction it's going to look sooo good!

I also have 3 projects coming with the "Kingdoms Chapter II" map. Two of them can be known to the public, which is a "Buildings Pack" and of course the main map, and the third project will remain unannounced until further notice ;D

I'm looking forward to playing your map!
