The dreamscapes are vast and treacherous places. Dive too deep and you'll certainly lose yourself, so be careful, the journey is only to seem easy, but never underestimate what you have no knowledge of.




'A Lucid Dream' is a horror, eerie, and spine-chilling adventure map.
● I wouldn't call this a true horror map, since it focuses on the story.
● Explore unique levels of eerie ambience, frightening events, and weird places.
● Each level is designed with a certain mood setting and atmosphere.
● From action PvE fights, through mysteries, to liminal places filled with puzzles and fright.

● Map supports multiplayer, but is focused on singleplayer experience
● Made for the latest version of Minecraft (1.21.4+)
● Contains 7 chapters in total (4/7 are complete)

The latest major update is here, and with it comes a new feature - Chapter Selection. At the beginning of the map, you can choose to start a New Game (from Chapter 1), or start from any other Chapter in case you already played the previous ones! As I mentioned in my sneak-peek update post on my Patreon (free), what was going to be Chapter 5 was pushed back and will be Chapter 6 now, while Chapter 5 will be something completely different!
This update also adds a new mini-chapter - The Prologue, reworks the lobby room and intro, and fixes some bugs.

THE PROLOGUE changes:
  • Added a whole town
  • Added an animation for the intro
  • Added Chapter Selection system
  • Removed the old lobby room
  • Reworked the Credits
  • Reworked the Intro title
MAP-WIDE changes:
  • Chapter number and name now appear at the start of each chapter rather than at its end
  • Fixed a bug with an incorrect Chapter name appearing in Chapter 1
  • Fixed a bug with an incorrect World Spawnpoint (hopefully)
  • Updated Resource Pack code for the latest version of Minecraft
CHAPTER 1 - 4 changes:
  • No changes

OMG! This map is awesome. Played it with my friend. So neatly done, I gotta say. Encountered a few bugs, but it might be because the map isn't supposed to fully support multiplayer.

multiplayer issue with java, prob not relevant or can be fixed I'm using a multiplayer mod, and my friend cant use the texture pack, its okay but its be cool if the pack was released to download. also when he loads in he is loaded in creative mode but that's an easy fix so it isn't a big deal

Yo I've got an issue with chapter 3. I placed the warped roots in the plant pot and it still says they're missing when I press the button...Am I doing something wrong? (I'm on v1.5.2, MC 1.20.4)

I'm sorry you had issues playing. Yes, this was a known issue in that version and has been fixed since then.

I highly recommend downloading the latest version, speedrunning chapters 1 to 3 (it shouldn't be as hard as you have already played them), and continuing from there.



There were a ton of bugs fixed that version 1.5.2 still has.
