Maybe you should think about finding a way to make it more 'pirate'. What we see for now is not much more than a basic wooden Structure on the water; but I cannot see the pirate connection in here. Think for example about black instead of white colouring; using pirate banners and/or give us somekind of a story. Also the farmes are; well they are functional for minecraft surival but they are not fitting very well to a pirate hideout; pirates are no farmers - that is why the plunder.

The idea about swamp pirates isn't bad - it is especially good because it's unique; there is no other project at the contest for now with that topic - use that :)
