the sword class gunboat designed by the frontier as a patrol vessel for protecting space stations and border patrol.
the sword class is an extremly menuverable vessels thanks to its small size and low profile making them ideal for patrol duties.
the ship type started development in 2298 by the frontier debrus group contract for patrol vessels and started constraction in 2302,
a total of 166 vessels has been constracted since 2302 and yet more to come with some upgrades.
