The Lore For the map

Please note this is a very very simple version of the lore!
Setting: Late 1700s with steam punk influences
In 1619 a large fleet of ships set sail from they're plauge ridden home. Commanding the ships was a prince called Edward IV. The fleet searched for months for a new home, one that was free of the plague. Eventually, after many hard years, the fleet came across a lonesome tropical island. It wasnt long before the prince had discovered the vast wealth of natural resources; however, most of it was owned by small tribes - but no matter for the prince. He attacked the tribes, burning their villages to the ground and slaughtering they're people, before settling on the bloody soil.
150 Years later:
The Island is forced into anarchy - the ore's are depleted, and the rich, but mad king John IV is shipping food in from distant lands, and he is forcing his people to work harder and harder, untill they physically and mentally snap. It isn't long before fighting breaks out in the streets over food and supplies. Eventually, the land splits. Half the land is occupied by the king. Half by the people against the king.

The Map
The map is going to be based in a topical inland will lots of jungle and swamps, and Hilly jungles as well
The map is in a very very simple stage at the moment and will be changed
