Located at the village of Garni in Kotayk Province of present day Armenia, this hexastyle Ionic temple (or mausoleum) was built in the first century CE by (probably) King Tiridates I.
Fortunately the Temple of Garni (Գառնիի տաճար) was extensively rebuilt via anastylosis from 1969 to 1975 after being devastated in a 1679 earthquake and is now one of the best preserved Greco-Roman-style temples from the ancient world.
Built on December 18th-21st, using a lot of inspiration from Trydar's Ionic temple tutorial.
