I Have been working solo on & off at building this city over the last 4 years, and it's getting to a point where its starting to look quite swaggy, so wanted to post.
It is planned to cover the entirety of a 1000 x 1000 block (1sqkm) island and as of now contains around 200 unique, eclectically styled buildings.
Due to the project's time span, the quality and scale of construction some what varies lol, although it is consistently highly detailed and selected buildings have full / partial interiors.
It is now downloadable!

A fantastic work, I usually have a knack for telling which builds have had their heart and soul poured into them and with this there is no exception. Great use of planning and colour contrast, especially in the different city districts and so on. Have you thought of putting cars and lil people on the streets and buildings? In any case this is a fantastic project and I cant wait to see what happens next with this. Well Done!

Thanks that's great to hear! Yeah I've tried to focus on capturing the sort of energy and development variety you see in real cities, but with a more colourful / idealistic look. I will add more details like that at some point, going to start with trains / metro infrastructure then move onto that at the end, although am generally mainly focused on the architecture and landscaping. :)

Thanks so much! Yeah I love the old New York art deco / gothic buildings, especially the ones that have sadly been demolished; gonna do some more of them in the future :)
