This is a structure that was used as my server's spawn, for the first five months of it's existence - It's a great design if you have multiple worlds, or portals to multiple biomes, like we do. It looks best over water, but as you can see, looks fine over land, as well.
Be sure to stand about 15 blocks under where you want the bottom of this to be, in the exact middle. It's rather big, and will crash smaller servers, when pasted and undone.
This was made almost entirely by hand - the only world edit used was to make the original spheres of stone, and fill the bottom of the main sphere with grass.
The "DNA strand," in the middle was done by one of my Super Admins, Carcanis. If you play LoL, and his name looks familiar - Yes, it is the same person. He's a LoL junkie, as well.
This is 90% my design, licensed under a Creative Commons, and anyone who uses it without permission and proper credit, will be reported. (The other 10% goes to Carcanis, one of my best SuperAdmins, for the beautiful double helix, in the center, along with his help decorating the biomes.)
Texture used is my own edited version of Dokucraft - I can't provide a download, but I will send the file to you, over Skype, if you want yours to look the same.
