I wanted to do a simple, quick and not round build. This fits all the categories. Took a few hours after I finalized the shape of the building after a couple of failed attempts :)

The interior layout is kind of crappy, especially the elevators waste lots of space and that lobby is not very functional. Floors are too high (8 blocks), they could be lowered to 4 blocks after 1.6 thanks to carpets. That would increase the floor count from 20 to 40. Stairs would be nice but I had no idea where to place them, maybe next to the elevators? I didn't intend to build a too realistic skyscraper, so I suppose the problems don't matter too much :)

Sorry for the Chunky renders, but the building is so narrow and tall that it's hard to take in game screenshots from the whole structure.

Excellent trees by lentebriesje <3 I will probably finish NYPL too now, it has been missing especially the trees.

VERY nice building. I like the shape of it, really creative. Really wish you would've used a fitting texture pack, however.

What would, in your opinion, be a fitting texture pack? :)

I've always come back to default textures since other packs have some problems, like blocks which don't fit together (stone, stone bricks), weird color casts etc (green stone instead of gray).

Just tried out Defscape, it looks very clean at least if you just want smooth surfaces.

Most modern builders use Moartex or Flow's HD or Flowtex. I personally use Flowtex, it combines the best textures of Soartex Fanver and Flow's HD. Defscape seems nice, but it leans more towards default style than realism. :)
