THE DEATH ARENA!

Welcome, player, to The Death Arena. In this facility, you will enter several different arenas, and fight never-ending mobs until you die. Using the new /scoreboard command, you can
keep track of your kills. So obviously this requires the 1.5 pre-release. There are also unlockable achievements, marked in the achievements room! The arenas include:

The Wither Battle Arena!
(Unlocked by finding 3 wither skeleton skulls and dropping them in the hole)

Impossible Mode!
(Unlocked by collecting 32 gunpowder and dropping it in the hole)

Last Stand Shooting Arena!
(Unlocked by default, just a fun mini game. Keep the zombies at bay - don't let them pass the red line!)

Training Arena!
(Slightly still a work in progress, however it's not enough to take away the 100% complete percentage of this map.)

And, obviously, The Death Arena!
(Unlocked by default, this will probably be the first one you will
play. Infinite mobs are spawning above your head through edited mob spawners. Fight to the death!)

There is also a 'secret fish' easter egg. Try to find it! :D

This map is based mainly on command blocks, hoppers, dispensers and chests. You can play at any time because using inverted daylight sensors and command blocks, the map stays night forever.
The command blocks to three main things:
1. Teleport you. Everything you need is in a small facility with
buttons and signs. Press the button to be teleported to the according arena!
2. Give output text. Often things like this can feel lonely. As soon as you enter the map, output text greets you. When you go to the achievements room, you get welcomed. Lots more output text is in the map.
3. Keep track of kills. Using the new /scoreboard command, you can keep track of how many kills you have!
The command blocks do several other things, but they are minor. Also, mob griefing is turned off, so creepers don't break blocks...
but they break you! Upon enter, there is also a chest with arrows, armor, and other goodies. However they are ALL glowing. The armor and swords are enchanted, but the arrows are too. This is possible using the too many items mod! All of the items are also named, using the anvil. You do NOT need the too many items mod to play though. No mods required, only the new 1.5 pre-release. (Or the full version, depending on what's out!) Have fun, and good luck!
