Welcome to The Deepest Sleep, a bit scary, escape the room type map.



The map includes parkour and a mediocre difficulty escape room with puzzles, riddles, codes etc. If you make a video on this map, please add the url to it in the description. Any constructive criticism is highly appreciated so I can improve on the upcoming maps!

Also! This map is multiplayer friendly, so you can enjoy solving puzzles with your friends!

Ok, so I enjoyed the map however I struggled to complete it legitimately... There was a puzzle that I simply could not understand, well it's not that I didn't understand it but I got lost and cheated for the answer however after that I could solve the whole map... The part I got stuck on was the keyboard thing with the letters and I simply could not find where you'd get that answer or where the question was. To get the answer I creative mode cheated and looked at the command blocks but after completing the map I looked across the whole map in spectator and couldn't find it... Im probably stupid for not finding it but where were you supposed to get that answer.
The puzzle
It was the keyboard where the answer was horse.

Apart from that I enjoyed the map so good job!

keyboard_arrow_downWhere to find what you were looking for.
What you have to find to solve this puzzle is a sign with the text: "Mob added in 1.6"
This sign is hidden behind a small half-block tall hole. However, to see the sign you also have to close a trapdoor while standing inside of it, so that you start "crawling" on the floor. The sign is located inside the room before the room with the keyboard.

I found the droids I was looking for (or the sign) and it is obnoxiously difficult to read. I was playing in 1.15.2 and I went through controls looking for zoom and alas I could not find the button so it was too distant and difficult to read.

oh, ok... Ill look around for it but on such a large map maybe make it a little bit more obvious because a One block (?) area in a map with several rooms, its doubtful people would find it quickly... and
Other puzzles
Also maybe next time add like a written book that has morse code in it.
With Hex, I had to use external tools as well so maybe make it possible to get the answer without googling it (or using Unity's colour picker like I did)

[​EDIT START]: ADDITIONALLY: I was the only person out of me and two friends (and one other annoying guy) who saw the finish (They didn't know enough about redstone and commands to cheat successfully) so yeah, it'd be tough to complete the whole map without cheating [​EDIT END]
Parkour
I also liked how the parkour would teleport you up high and you couldn't get back down (you were greeted with a little surprise) because I didn't even notice that I was TP'd, that's how smooth the teleport was

For the very most part, I've enjoyed this map. While I'm not too keen on parkour, the puzzles were really good. Although I would like to criticize some of them. While I won't give any exact answers, I'm marking the following as spoilers:

Criticism of puzzle A
First, the "red+blue+green" one requires the player to be familiar with hexadecimal numbers. Fortunately, I know about them so, while I haven't had any issue with the puzzle (safe for the fact I first thought I had to add them up, instead of concatenating them), I fear someone less knowledgeable might not understand what "hex #" would mean (or maybe I'm not giving people enough credit, who knows!).



Criticism of puzzle B
Second, I couldn't figure out the shower drain code. The first issue I had with it was to sequence the ON-and-OFF pattern. It took me a while, because I had to film it, then go frame-by-frame to write down the sequence. But then, I couldn't tell what was the actual start of the sequence. And then, I tried to convert it into text from binary, then morse code... At that point, I gave up and went to Spectator mode to find the actual code. When I found it, I couldn't really see how I was supposed to actually find it. Granted, I may have thought ******way****** too hard on that and my over-thinking might've completely thrown me off.

Still, aside from that, I've sincerely liked this map! I enjoyed the spooky atmosphere (although I'm kinda sad it was dropped once the Escape the Room part actually starts). The creepy figures genuinely startled me a few times, so that's definitely a plus in my book (even if I'm a jumpy person!). I'd love to see more of these in the future! Great job! :)

I'm really glad you enjoyed my first map! :D

I appreciate your genuine opinion and very constructive criticism with a lot of thought put in to it. I will try my best to improve on any of my upcoming maps and puzzles. Also *spoiler* (I have no idea how to hide text under a spoiler tab like you did) the On and Off puzzle was indeed Morse code. If I do eventually use it again, I will definitely make it more clear and easier to complete.
