This is my most complex map so far, basing it as much off the real game as possible, from weapons to locations to size. The only difference is in the caves, where there was no map for them.
For those of you who don't know what the forest is,
#1 Why are you even here!?
#2 Look it up.
For those of you 2 lazy 2 look it up, it's a survival horror where you're in a plane crash on a mysterious mutant-cannibal-ridden island. 'Nuff said.
Anyways, I decided that making it Minecraft would actually be very do-able, so why not?
Oh yeah, and I also realized this might go well with some mods... Maybe Tree Capitators. Please hit that diamond button and favorite this!
If you notice any bugs please pm me so I can fix them.
RULES
#1. You can only break the following blocks:
COBBLESTONE
WOODEN PLANKS*
LOGS
LEAVES
FENCES*
The string in the cannibal camps is so that you can make bows.
#2. Unless you want to simply view the world or explore, please do not cheat!
That means no gm, no toggledownfall, and no changing the time.
#3. DO NOT USE THIS MAP WITHOUT MY PERMISSION ON SERVERS OR OTHER WEBSITES!!!
I WILL SUE YOU IF YOU DON"T ASK ME!
#4. You MAY do videos on it, but make sure to GIVE ME CREDIT.
#5. Absolutely NO BEDS! They will mess everything up.
#6. No building unfair things such as:
Tunnels (No ore anyways)
Underwater Bases
Try to avoid tree houses, but because they were added in the real game you can build them.
#7. Do NOT Ignore the rules above!
#8. Have fun!

*These items may NOT be broken if they are part of the original map**. (Meaning YOU DIDN'T craft them and YOU DIDN'T build them.)
**You MAY Break the fences guarding the cave's entrance.
MUTANT STATS
* 5 Attack Damage
* 25 Health
* Speed slightly faster than human walking speed.
You also get 2 chances, just like in the real game.
This is all in 1.8.0 and up.

Spoiler - How it was made. (For those of you interested)
This is actually this map's life story. Not mine.
Ok, so I used World Painter for this map, and at first it wasnt pretty.
* Means it was a major update that dramatically changed the gameplay.
1st Stage
The worst of the worst. tiny, barely a couple hundred blocks across, all the trees were tiny pines, the hills too high, mutants simple zombies, bla bla bla. Yeah, it sucked.
2nd Stage.
WAYYYY Better. Completely re-did the whole map, making it correct scale, and more accurate. also made the trees taller and (finally) more realistic, but the roots showed, effectively ruining the trees. Also made the zombies into cannibals...
but they were way too hard, as it took up to10 hits to kill WITH A DIAMOND SWORD and did 10 Damage with one hit, and were lightning fast.*
3rd Stage
Fixed loot, added cave system, and improved many small things. (This is the stage available for download.)
4th Stage
Completely re-did the cannibals "coding" and made them much easier. Also updated this into map.*
5th Stage
Added the spawning mechanisms in, finally able to make you have 2 lives and only two lives. *
6th Stage
Not major, for this was merely for aesthetic purposes, but the last big update, I finally hid most of the tree's roots beneath the surface.
All updates after this will be posted in update log.

Spawning / 2 lives Mechanics
You first spawn inside the flying airplane, then when ready you press the start button. You are then teleported to the destroyed plane, and your spawn set to the caves. Once you die, you spawn in the caves, and your spawn is set back to the flying plane. When you die again, you finally lose.
This is all in 1.8.0 and up.
Tips + Facts
TIPS
Either avoid them, wait till you are stronger, or use the rusty axe, which has knockback on it.
They will usually spawn near their human effigees, and in groups of 2. This gives you good reason to avoid them.
After update #22 there's an addition to make up for the lack of mutants in the empty-ish parts of the map.

Here's another large update, updating to according to the game. Put the modern axe in the sailboat, improved the camps (a lot), and added more of a challenge. It's a secret for now. I also added a pond with fishing poles (instead of the spears in the real game) and some fishing poles to another pond. there also rocks next and in these ponds so you no longer have to travel to the beaches for rocks. Sorry I forgot to mention the addityion of string in cannibal camps to make bows.
