THE HOBBIT

The Hobbit is a new MMORPG Server by Robotic Entertainment.
The Hobbit started on the 15th December 2011, we have progressed far and are just adding the final touches. The Hobbit is mainly a RP Server where you Role-Play, Level up, Magic spells, have Mounts and more. You have chat channels as well so if you want to Role-Play you can go into the RP chat by doing /ch RP. If you want to go back to OOC Meaning Out-Of-Character you will need to do /ch OOC. Also if you were raiding another city like the Human City you can join a channel called RAID to join this you will need to do /ch RAID.
STORY
The Orcs once ruled Alinor, it was then founded by other races such as The Humans, A noble race that had their City destroyed by the Undead Forces, then then found Alinor, they took Refuge. The Orcs didn't want the Humans to be in their territory so the Orcs battled the Humans for who should claim this land. There were many battles won and many battles lost.
After another 17 years the Dwarves found Alinor too, they also took refuge on Alinor as their resources in their old world were all destroyed. There are still no signs of where the Dwarves City is.
Since fighting for land the Elves got discovered, there are many rumours of who found Alinor first, The Orcs wanted the Elves. As for the Elves they wanted peace, they didn't want to fight. But who found Alinor first? You decide.
BETA
As many of you know, the BETA for The Hobbit is coming out on the 1st of February 2012, and will end on the 12th of February 2012. But we have not finished anything yet, we still need to complete 2 more dungeons and try to work out on how to fix the PvP System, also some plugins arn't functioning well as they are suppose to. But you can help, by filling out an application below to either be a GM, GT, Builder or BETA Tester. The release for the server will be the 22nd of February.
PvP
PvP is allowed in The Hobbit but it has rules, you may kill people in the Wilderness but if you are doing PvP or Spawn killing their grave you will be banned, you may RP PvP which means you need to do a certain emote before killing them like, ''I Execute you Greybeard by the name of Raicio the king of Dwarves''. Somthing like that.
Plugins you must know about.
- Buying - To buy something you must right click a sign with the name of the item, how much and how much you are getting, the price will be at the bottom. If you were to buy something it will be near a chest.
- Mail - To post a letter to someone you need to do /post (Playername) (Message). A ender man will then come out at a random point, you need to right click him to receive your mail.
- Flying Mounts - To mount a dragon you must to /dt mount. Once done you can travel to a place which will be located on signs at a flight-path. To travel you must do /dt travel (place name). To travel to a player you must do /dt ptravel (player name)
- Money - Do /money to check your money.
- Loretime - To view in-game time do /loretime, this could be useful on some Events.
- Lottery - To buy a ticket do /lottery buy. To buy a ticket it will cost 10 Platinum
- LWC - To lock your doors, chests, furnaces, do /cprivate. Then left click your object to lock it.
- MCMMO - To view your levels do /stats. Your power-level is your actual level.
- Wheatheal - If you were a healer in a dungeon you can bring food along too, you will need to hold the food in your hand and left click a person to heal them. Depending on the food rarity will heal for any amount of hearts.
- Report - If you feel someone is doing the wrong thing you can report them by doing /report (playername) (what they did). A GM will then either ban or not ban that person.

i want to be a builder because i have a passion for building LOTR and Hobbit things. i am an experienced builder and have my own Private server on which i build whatever i want, i also have OCD and can make EVERYTHING and ANYTHING perfectly even (5x5 etc.)
i am a huge LOTR and Hobbit fan, and i love minecraft, and the two go really well together so i am always trying to find new servers.
