This is a fully unique Legend of Zelda experience I finished in bedrock about a year ago. I built this with the help of my brother over about 5 years. That being said almost 95% of this was built by hand with just a bit of background after I finally had the ability to use an editor on bedrock worlds. It is 100% complete and playable and it takes about 25 hours to beat. It also has its own story which I tried to fit in the Zelda timeline. I tried to convert it to Java but it breaks all of the command block when I do it (which there is soooo many of them) so its not worth my time to figure out how to fix it but feel free to try.

The game has 10 dungeons all with unique bosses. There are also a bunch of minigames you can pay to earn rewards just like in the real Zelda games. I really hope you enjoy it.

The YouTube video is just a walkthrough on how to get started because the platform which I posted the map on was mostly filled by little kids who had no idea what they were doing. The game Is decently hard by Minecraft standards, especially in the late game.

Changes: I changed the world download to a McWorld file for easier installment.

Just want to say that this looks insanely cool! Havent played it yet because im not really sure how to put a .zip file into minecraft. If you could temporarily put up a .mcworld file that'd be great!

Hi Josh,

A few years ago I downloaded an earlier version of this map from MCPEDL, and was instantly shocked by the intense dedication I saw behind every corner of this experience. Sure it wasn't the most polished thing ever (although I'm perfectly willing to reverse that opinion once I try the updated version!) and updates to bedrock had broken a few things, but somehow it felt like you captured the essence of Zelda (and Nintendo).

I was immersed in the story, and spent hours upon hours exploring the nooks and crannies of this world. Every time I dug deeper I was rewarded with clever design and thoughtful planning, and I even learned a few tricks that could make speedruns very interesting!

As I think back on playing this map, I feel nostalgic just as I would with an official Zelda title. I feel almost in awe that you managed to pull this off with just two people, regardless of the time taken. Your dedication and planning is inspiring, and if it's possible I'd like to talk with you some time. I know I sound like a hopeless fanboy, but I had tried countless times to build something like this and they all ended in failure. Why? Because I never had the focus to continue them after I ran into obstacles, my perfectionism (aka minecraft OCD) wouldn't let me make almost anything without worrying it wasn't good enough.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, thank you. Thank you for your hard work, even when you had no gaurantee anyone would ever appreciate it. If you ever feel like chatting, I'm off work on Tuesdays and the weekend. I'm TeamBeanGamers on xbox.

Haha I just realized you only played the broken version of the game! I am surprised you gave me such high praise considering how badly broken it was. I think you will really enjoy the update. I followed you on Xbox. It will probably be a while before I can talk because I am really busy until around early December,.

Wow thanks that means a whole lot to me! My brother and I worked on and off this map for around 5 years now before getting it to this point. Who knows, I may be able to finish the last four dungeons I had planned for the game but at this moment I am happy enough with the finished product and I'm extremely busy these days. Most of the people on MCPE didn't care too much for this map (probably because the majority of them are young and I made the game a little complicated as it was originally just made for my brother and I), so hearing a response like this just warms my heart! I know completely what you mean about not being able to finish passion projects. I had about 3 different Zelda games before this one which I did not finish, and I am currently working on updating my second Pokémon region after my first failed miserably. For this one I kind just stopped trying to make it look professional but instead just try to pack it completely full of fun things to do and cool places to discover despite the map being rather small. I really always hoped there would be people like you out there who really enjoyed the experience and tried to find all the little hidden gems. I would love to talk to you about this or any of my other projects and how I made the game. I'd also love to hear your experience playing it! Feel free to private message me on the chat!
