The Mourning Chapel

The Mourning Chapel felt like the right build to launch my Patreon with.




I wanted it to show the kind of stuff I’m trying to make now. Bigger, weirder, more emotional, and with a lot more care put into the feeling behind it.




It’s part chapel, part centipede, and part giant mourning face. Not really a monster, but not just a building either. More like some old sacred place that suffered for so long it started moving.




The face was the main thing I cared about. I didn’t want it to look angry or like it was screaming. I wanted it to look pained. Like the whole structure is carrying something it can’t put down.




This one means a lot to me because it feels like a step up. The scale, the mood, the overgrowth, the legs, the face, all of it came together in a way I’m really proud of.

Blue’s Builds is where I’ll be posting my bigger builds, schematics, world downloads, experiments, previews, behind-the-scenes stuff, and whatever I’m working on next. I also want it to be more than just a download page. I want it to become a small creative space where builders can share ideas, give feedback, learn from each other, and get better together.
