Experience a coaster like nether before ;)

TO START THE COASTER:

At the beginning in the regular world, place a Minecart on the detector rail. This will cause it to set off quickly, you need to right click to get in the Minecart before it speeds off.

Keep your hands and feet within the minecart and watch out for stray animals that may send you flying back in the direction you came from.

Once you enter the Nether you should find some clear signs as to where to place your Minecart. If you see nothing, go around the other side of the portal and you should find the track and signs there. If not, leave a comment and I will help as much as I can.

AT THE END OF THE RIDE:

In the regular world:

Simply destroy your Minecart by left clicking several times to enter the Nether.

In the Nether:

Simply destroy your Minecart again and explore the Nether if you wish or exit via the portal. You will end up in a random cave wishing you good luck.
