This is the first major build Ive done that wasnt a part of my Rome map. Unlike most of my other builds, The Pantheon is still almost 100% intact so reference photos were easy to find. I built this build as close to 100% accurate to the real Pantheon as possible, all the way down to the floor design. It took me about a week, and i think i used around 40 different reference photos. Also, I didnt bother to include the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Pantheon because they weren't critical to the project.
The Pantheon was first constructed in 27 BC, and looked a lot different than the build we see today. The Pantheon as we know it, was constructed in the years 117 to 127 A.D. by Emperor Hadrian after the original building burnt down in the fire of 80 A.D. The Pantheon originally had a set of 5 stairs leading up to the portico, which are now sit below the height of todays street level. Also The Pantheon had a colonnade that enclosed a courtyard which housed the Arch of Piety (something that many people are unaware of because only the foundation lines exsist today).
Unlike most of the Pantheons Ive seen on here, the dome on my Pantheon is completely hand built, not just a half sphere put on the building using MCEdit lol.
Downloading Info
The build is up for download, and is also (like my Rome map) copyrighted, and you can find all the CR info in the dl folder. ALSO, be sure to extract the Folder called Jon 3 (The Pantheon) from the zip folder, then put the folder Jon 3 (The Pantheon) into your saves or it wont work. ENJOY!!!!!!!!!
