CHECK IT OUT YOURSELF

Installation:

go into your files browser
go into your your computers name (John, Steve, Lisa)
go to appdata
Select Roaming
.minecraft should be first file there (If not its somewhere in that folder) click that
Go to the saves file
right click and select create new folder
name it whatever you want
drag files from the archive download in THE POINT OF MINECRAFT file into the folder you just created
Start up Minecraft...

AND SEE WHY NOTCH MADE MINECRAFT
