This is my first big project, I hope you like it. It is far from finished, so follow my progress!
Feel free to diamond, favorite and/or subscribe! When I'm finished, I am going to make a long story surrounding the life of Master Prophet Kagdan and the lore of the Seat of Magic. I already have a little story finished:

The old man sighed. He had so much to do, and was never allowed any rest. Constantly, his students popped their head in his office, asking him for help with certain prophecies. Someone knocked on the door.
"Come in." He said in his deep, powerful voice. His dark voice scared adults, though children seemed to hear the kind nature behind the voice.
A young man came in. He had the robes of a wizard of third grade. There are ten grades, the First grade was for the most powerful wizards: The Archmage and his Council. They ruled the Seat.
"Master Prophet, we have found a new wizard who has the Prophet's power."
"Good. Bring him to me tomorrow. And please, call me Kagdan."
"Yes, Master Pro-- Kagdan."
The young man left. Kagdan walked to a window. Outside, there was a group of sorceresses coming to the Seat. That must be the delegation from Aerheim, who escorted the new Head Sorceresses to the Seat. Every group of magicians had his or her leader. Healers, War Wizards, Conjurers, all groups had a leader. There were ten leaders, and the Archmage. They formed the Council of Mages. Only they, and the Master Prophet, who was not an official part of the Council, but the most trusted advisor of the Archmage, and thus present at all gatherings of the Council, lived in the Seat. All other wizards lived in the surrounding cities, or they came here for a few days, and then left for their village again.

The approaching sorceresses were getting a blue glow when they crossed the pattern of magic at the square. The Seat of Magic was build by the Titans, a group of demigods ruling the planet. They wanted a home for their most trusted servants, so that they would be united as a group, instead of all working alone. They made it above the strongest pool of magic on earth. Pools of magic were places where magic was gathered in invisible coulds, used by wizards to give their spells more power. To use magic, you must purify it. The Titans made it much easier: They made the towers in the pattern of a spell, which duplicated the power of magic, and purified it. The purified magic whirled around some towers in the form of blue strings. All purified magic is blue. Every shade of blue has its powers. Greenish blue is good for healing, dark blue for destruction spells. Light blue was used for protection spells, and purple-like blue was used for dark magic, like reïncarnation. Strings of all kinds of magic were woven into eachother, whirling around towers, making patterns in the floor, or making balls of magic which circled around towers or other magic-attracting objects. Prophets have their own towers, where magic made them see the prophecies more clearly. The more power a wizard has, the longer they live. Even the weakest prophet lived longer then the Archmage, though even the strongest Prophet can't cast the spells the Archmage can. The Archmage is always a War Wizard, because the Archmage is the guardian of all the magic objects and books in the Seat. If these books and objects fall in the wrong hands, they can be used to destroy the world. The Seat is attacked every now and then by evil wizards, who are led by demigods who want to climb the throne of the Titans. But they never availed, as the Master Prophet, the Guardian of the Seat, always turned them back.

Kagdan walked to the Great Library, to get an ancient book of prophecy, which one of his students had been reading. He said that it may be possible that the book tells about a way to ward the demigods from Earth. Where he walked, wizards of every grade fell to their knees, head touching the ground, murmuring "May your visions never stop", the formal greeting to a Master Prophet. The Master Prophet was much more respected then the Archmage, and when he thought it neccesary, he could remove an Archmage from his post, and appoint a new one. When he reached the librabry, the student who had found the book was already waiting for him. They studied the book, and came to the conclusion that it was what the student had thought it was. They searched for other books with the same name for the spell as that book, and slowly gained information about the spell. If they wouldn't do it the exact way the prophecy told it would happen, and thus make the prophecy false, they wouldn't be sure about what happened. Maybe, the spell would work, or maybe it would end in a catastrophe. The prophecy told them that the spell would work, but that the casters would befall a dark destiny, while the ones who didn't help casting it would be free of the dangers of the evil demigods. It also told them that "The one who leads the masters of the visions", which probably meant the Master Prophet, shouldn't help casting, or everything would go wrong.

They started the preparations of the casting. There needed to be one and a half thousand wizards and hundred sorceresses. That left only fortyeight wizards and twelve sorceresses who didn't help, plus the Master Prophet. While the casters where outside, casting the spell, he walked to his office. When he looked out of the window, he saw wizards everywhere. The lands around the Seat where swarming with them. The Archmage was in the middle of it, and all the wizards were sending their magic to him. He was surrounded by blue light, making it hard to see him. The orb of light around him grew, and the air hummed. Then, the magic started to get darker and darker. Kagdan gasped. That meant that the magic was getting out of control, and if it wouldn't be released soon, it would consume the tower and all land around it. He ran to the Archmages office, where the most important objects of magic were kept. He walked straight towards a bookcase, turning it into ashes with a move of his hand. Behind, there was a small room, containing an orb, and some other strange objects. He took the orb, and ran towards one of the towers. From that tower, he could get over a bridge, and then to a strange circle of magic. This plate of magic hadn't been used since the Great War, when the Seat was attacked by a horde of magic-resistant creatures, named Glorzix', shaped by Dorzai, the worst of all demigods. It was used to make the strongest magic shield possible, and the orb would help make the shield so strong, that even the magic-resistant Glorzix' couldn't pass it. He activated the orb, and began making a strong shield. When he was finished, all the towers were surrounded by a layer of rainbowcoloured magic. At the same time, the Archmage was trying to finish the spell as swift as possible. The air about him was allmost completely black. Kagdan already knew that it was too late for all the wizards outside, they would all be consumed by the magic, but the spell wasn't lost yet. Just in time, the Archmage release the magic. A huge explosion came from him, while he released the magic. He used the magic left to make a shield around himself, and then collapsed to the floor, exhausted. The towers shook, but remained standing.

When the explosion ended, the Prophet ran towards the square. There was the Archmage, as only wizard not crubled to dust, but mortally wounded. He wouldn't have much time left. He signaled Kagdan to come closer.
"This is the ending of the era of magic." he said, not more then a whisper. "You must go to my office, to the room where.." He stopped, coughing blood. When the coughing stopped, he continued. "where you got the orb. There, behind the only book in the room, you will find a piece of stone that stands out of the wall. Push it. A door bill open for a little time, allowing you to enter. There is a table with a book. Cast the spell in the book, leave the Seat, and never return. Never. Do you understand?"
"Yes, Archmage. It will be done. What does it do?"
"It will give the world a wizard, the likes of which you have never seen before, when the time comes."
The Archmage coughed up more blood. His breathing slowed.
"Know that the world will remember you as the savior of all, my friend." said Kagdan
Andaryan of Ayden, the last Archmage, smiled, and let his last breath get out.
Kagdan closed the eyes of his the Archmage, who had been his friend for almost five thousand years.
He conjured a box of magic around the Archmage, and sealed it, so that none would ever be able to open it. He brought it to the Council Hall, and made sign, saying: "Here lies Andaryan of Ayden, Last Archmage of the Seat of Magic, savior to all, and, more important, a friend. May he rest in peace." Then, he walked to the secret room, opened the second door, and cast the spell. The whole air about the Seat vibrated, and it felt as if the Seat of Magic confirmed that the spell was cast, and that it would come to work when the world needed it. Kagdan walked through the Seat for a last time, and then left. When he left it, the Seat of Magic shimmered, and vanished. The old tales were true: When the Seat of Magic was without guardian, it activated its self defense, teleporting to the plane of the Titans, to wait for a new guardian. Kagdan, and the other wizards and sorceresses left, roamed the lands, never finding a new place to settle. A hundred years later, all wizards were dead. It is told that when Kagdan died from old age, a blue light surrounded him, and he vanished. Some say, that the Titans gave him a grave next to Andaryan, to thank him for everything he did in his life. Kagdan, the Last Guardian of the Seat of Magic, died in peace, knowing that the Seat of Magic would have a guardian once more, when the time would come.

Maybe, that guardian would be you.

Update #3 : by Cenaria 08/13/2012 5:06:22 amAug 13th, 2012

I made the Main Tower, a bridge connecting the Main Tower to the Prophet's Tower, and a bridge to a small tower, which has two other bridges, and these are going to two islands.
The Main Tower has the Council room, and small libraries to both sides of the Council room.
