This project is related to a world that I will be building in Creative mode, for the intentions of turning into a kick-ass RP server (eventually).
This piece is the 'Shining Tower', where the spawn point and newb houses (small, hanging pods displayed in pics four through six) are.
Not shown in the main pictures are eight 'posts' that are evenly placed along the edge circle, and used to mount the pods to.

Made mostly of iron and glass, this tower will be a tall beastie, built to the top of the world. Eventually there will probably even be an underground portion with furnace rooms and various other things (no clue yet).

Barely in the works, this project will take a long time for me to complete, so be patient if you want to see it develop. I will be posting pictures occasionally as I continue building, and leave them up so you can see the process.
