Introduction
Heya there,
Let me tell you a little bit about this project we have been working. The project is a very big dungeon/instance. It involves all sorts of crazy jump quests, tricky puzzles and quite some thinking to finish it. The dungeon is made for atleast two people but three is recommended if you wish to find the extra hidden treasure filled with valuable things. Believe us, the extra hidden treasure isn't easy to find. At the end of the dungeon there will be a chest filled with random stuff that will be very rewarding for those who managed to complete the dungeon. Oh, a small note here, we like to refer to this instance as the 'Shroomstance'. This way you'll know what I am talking about if you read on and see that.
Summary of things in the shroomstance
- Lots of jumping quests
- Levers that need to be set in the correct way, sometimes multiple at the same time
- Buttons that a second player needs to press while the first one continues and open the door from the other side
- An exclusive three-man only treasure
- Beds to 'save' when you are halfway through the dungeon
Information about the server we are creating
A friend of mine started with this project a couple of months ago. He built quite a big start on his own. After some time, we decided to continue this project with the two of us and our guild was the result of that. We are planning on making a huge roleplaying map. This is because every now and then, we make a pretty big project, but we end up abandoning it on a map we never use again. So now, we built quite a collection of grande buildings and projects and decided it was about time to put them all together. Because we both really like medieval fantasy and want to put it in Minecraft as best as we can, we are going to make that awesome roleplaying map for everyone to enjoy when it's finished.
What did we use?
- Voxelsniper to basically make the whole blueprint of the instance
- WorldEdit for adding water and lava
- All the rest is handmade, obviously including, the redstone.
