Today, after being horribly raided in SMP, I made it my goal to help protect fellow Minecrafters from the same fate. So, here is my custom ULSS, or The Ulysses Device. NOTE: CAN BE USED IN SINGLEPLAYER- MASSIVE WASTE OF TIME TO DO SO.

But Marve, how does it protect my 36 diamonds in my chest downstairs?!

Well, citizen, there is multiple locks needed to be bypassed. These can all be customized once you know how to wire everything.
The different systems:
-A customizable lever passcode lock
-A pressure plate lock
-A hidden button

HOW TO USE THE SYSTEM:
Step 1: Input lever passcode
Step 2: Toss block onto wooden pressure plate
Step 3: Activate button

If you wired everything right, the button should be timed, and a good distance from your door. This will allow the button to be hidden, and give time to get back to the door before it opens. The block on the pressure plate will last for five minutes, leaving your door vulnerable.

CUSTOMIZABLE OPTIONS (SMP):
-Everything can be further away or closer to the door
-The button timing can be changed
-Levers NOT used in the passcode lock can be wired to redstone lamps inside your base, so you can tell if someone's trying to break in.
-Add more or take away levers
-Make hallway to collect pressure plate blocks

CUSTOMIZABLE OPTIONS (SP):
-Daylight sensors can be wired so door closes at nightfall
-Above can be repeated so door CANNOT be opened at night
