lets me tell you a little story about the world:
once there was an old woman that came to town to buy some food for her house but she didnt had any money...
she started to ask people for money but no one gave her any money.
she walked from the city with her head down. and when she started to walk a tourist saw her and asked her why she is sad?
she told him because she didnt had any money for food so he gave her some money and told here that if she needs any help she can come to him.
the old woman said thanks and just gone and that where our story begins...
after a few years the tourist went to the jungle there he saw a weird house when he walked in he saw something weird...
he started to move some stuff and saw some weird things when he turned around he saw an old woman starring at him
the old woman told him: you know if it wasnt you you were dead!
he asked her whats so special about him and she reminded him the story and then he asked her where did she went ? he wanted to give her something
she told him something called me i didnt knew what was that....
he asked her now you know what was that? and she saied i will
he told her that if she needs anything she can come to him but she saied that she is afraid and that he cant help her...
he really wanted to help her and sayed at least lets me try and she told him i wish you could.
he waited for the night without she know and he saw her with something not normal
he wonderd what was that....?
a few months later there was an explosion from the jungle the tourist started to run towards the explosion but when he came her saw the old woman almost die and a skeleton.
before she died she told him to check her house and he started looking in her house but didnt found anything
and then he saw a door that locked like a barrel he opened it and saw some stairs...
when he went up the stairs he saw three skeletons looking at a torch but its not a normal torch it was with lava he heard the three skeletons talking about a meteor and he didnt wanted to sayed there anymore so he started to walk down the stairs but the skeletons heard him so he started to run and they chased him.. he ran to the town and they stopped chasing him in the town...
he saw a young woman crying over a body, he looked at the body and saw the body was the old womans body and he asked her did you knew her she saied yes she was my mom and the he asked about the meteor and she creamed ALREADY?!?! he saied what do you mean? she saied a metore is going to hit earth and your our only hope... build a city and protect the people who will survive and when he will protect the people she wont be alive anymore but promist me one thing:
revange my moms death!
he saied i promise when he turnned around the meteor hit earth... and thats the end of our story.

Be more specific to the contest. It was actually about the sustainable city itself. Making that whole chunk for old thing is virtually irrelevant and you would rather spend your time on the city. Your story also doesn't explain how your city is sustainable at all.
and i know i have some grammer and spelling not 100% cause i didnt had time at all to do that i had something very important to do and i hope for good...
