A Theron is a small versatile, maneuverable ship, often used for bombing or fight in space or in enclosed atmosphere. These ships are unable to enter FTL by themselves, and need to be launched from planetary bases, orbiting space stations or ships to conduct strikes against enemy warships, intercept fighters, and provide escort for warships and dropships.
