Hey everyone! It's been a long, long time since I've posted any projects or videos, and for that I'm sorry.
College keeps me super busy and I barely have any time to play video games.
I'm hoping that when I get more free time I will be able to give you all more content/creations.
I know I don't exactly have the largest audience, but I am super appreciative of every single subscriber I do have.
I'm really happy that I can share my work with you all and that there are people who actually enjoy it :D!
So this monster project took me 120 hours and I still am not anywhere near completion.
One thing you will notice is that the buildings are shorter than their realistic counterparts.
This is because I plan to create an elaborate sky filled with fire and smoke and lightning.
This will hover over the buildings and will hopefully give it more of an "apocalyptic" feel.
This project is indeed a reference to "end of the Mayan calendar" which some believed would mark the end of
humanity as we know it. It was supposed to occur on December 21, 2012; however, we are all still well and
alive and able to laugh about how this was even a thing! Please note that I think New York City is an incredible
place and I would never actually want anything like this to occur in real life.
The song used in the video is Seven Lions (feat. Fiora) - Days To Come (Alex S. Remix). If you do enjoy the song
please be sure to check out Alex S. He is a phenomenally talented upcoming DJ who is even from my own state!
Lastly, please be sure to check out my other projects on PlanetMinecraft and/or Youtube and leave feedback
about whether or not you would like to see this finished! I know there are many of you equally as
creative as I am, so please, share your ideas and let me know what you think this project is missing!
One day when I find more time, I'm hoping that I can get some of the community involved in some truly epic Minecraft projects as a way of giving back to the community. Thanks as always everyone! - ConradtunoD
