So, I came up an idea for making a pirate adventure map for minecraft. Well, it didn't actually worked well. I was thinking of a cannon concept, so I came up by summoning arrows with have custom motion tags of going to the oppointment's ship. I used some of the new 'execute' command to cast the explosions. But to be honest, this look damn cool.
Explainations are quite simple.
1) Player shoots the arrow
2) Tests if the arrow landed
3) If it does, outputs a singnal.
4) The signal that is outputted, it does a couple of stuff
-Executes arrow to summon PrimedTNT with custom fuse value.
-Executes PrimedTNT to summon particles on top of it
-Executes PrimedTnt to play sound 'random.orb' to players within 20 blocks.
-Executes PrimedTnt to constantly summoning particles on top of it.
5) Makes some ticks.
6) After a couple of ticks, it does a couple of stuff
-Executes the PrimedTnt to remove the arrow that is shot previously.
-Executes the PrimedTnt to spawn strong particles on top of it.
7) Does 3 more ticks
8) After 3 ticks, it does more stuff.
-Executes the PrimedTnt to summon a creeper that is ignited at it's location.
-Executes the Creeper to remove the PrimedTnt
-Executes the Creeper to summon more particles on top of it.
That's it! See, I told you, it wasn't that much. If you wanna see the redstones, view this schematic at the 3D viewer.
Oh, you can disable and enable the explosions whenever you want.
To Disable It:
/gamerule mobGriefing false
To Enable It:
/gamerule mobGriefing true
The creeper has a custom explosion radius of 10.
Note this was created before 14w10a and 14w10b snapshot was released.
