Here's a TNT powered player launcher I made for the 4TheLoreSMP Season 2 Minecraft server.
The horizontal range of the machine is 1000 and up to 9000 blocks
Vertically it can launch you up to y4000.



There are 2 ways you can activate the machine. One is Instant fuse and delayed fuse. The delayed one has a hopper clock that gives you enough time activate the machine and then make your way to the launch site. The other one is for when you the machine to go off as soon as you hit the button.

You will need to wear a minimum of 3 armor piece alongside an optional elytra as the design is not perfect and you will take damage.



The original design is by u/betterthanlars over on reddit (https://www.reddit.com/user/betterthanlars/ ). His contraption was intended to be used a Arrow Launcher which I converted into a player launcher. It's a fun little contraption; a lot of fun to be had with on a multiplayer server with a lot of players.
