I was inspired to create this after downloading Vechs' town construction kit.

Not a whole lot to say about this, I suppose. The pieces are, from left to right: corner segment, cannon segment, wall segment, gatehouse.

Important: the wiring in the gatehouse extends into the ground. Make sure you copy all of it, or the gate won't function.

At the moment, I'm working on another project called Leafeater's Lair; I can't say when it'll be completed, but it should fulfill your desire for something "big and complex".

One thing, though - they might be a bit tricky to fit together, since I uploaded them as a single schematic. I'd like to upload them separately now, but MCEdit isn't yet compatible with MineCraft's new Anvil format. Just a warning.

Thanks for the warning. Once Minecraft has sorted itself out with the texture packs and MCEdit, I'll keep checking back here for individual releases. However, I'll try and sort something out on the ALPHA client I have :).
