In honor of those who lost their lives in the tragic 9/11 attacks that happend 19 years ago, i have decided to re-create at least one of the famous towers in MC, as of now, the map is work in progress, though the tower looks the part, i still have a ton of things to do, the lobby is a little out of whack and there are no floors in the building, the core is empty, i'm hoping to squeeze 110 floors in even if it is out of scale with the real thing, nor do i know what was on every floor, but aside from the sky lobbies and lobby everyone pretty much knows it was offices, for the sake of time and the type of save i'm not going to model a basement, i'd say its about 75% complete, once finished there will be a hidden book honoring those who lost their lives in 9/11 and the hero's that risked their lives to save others.

The Future of this project
September 14th 2020 i layed the foundation work for a simple not-to-scale reconstruction of 2 WTC in minecraft, the project was going ok, i halted for a while, but then started work again, but on October 18th, i posted the last update until now.
The reasons for that were as follows, i was having a lot of trouble making the elevators, they just didn't line up floor by floor, and to top it all off, i saw how inaccurate my design was compared to the real thing and other peoples creations, mine doesn't even have space for restrooms, and i was having trouble making the emergancy staircase, so for these reasons i took another one of my breaks and let it go out of control, but then, something crazy happened.
My minecraft account just stopped logging in, and when i request a password reset, i don't receive it, it's obvious i've been a victim of an account takeover and i will need to contact Mojang about it
Just this week my hard drive has played up, i've backed up nearly all my personal stuff already and i'm fairly sure the latest version of 2 WTC is already backed up (There's two versions, the preview you can download from here and my WIP version) but that means i can't really do anything resource intensive before i clone and replace my hard drive, that includes working on my project.
So there's your long awaited update, construction problems turned to breaks turned to laziness turned to a hacked account and a dying hard drive.
Hopefully i will be able to retrieve my minecraft account and my peace of mind when it comes to my hard drive, which will allow me to restart work on the project .
