Have you ever wanted to make your own crafting recipes in survival minecraft? Well now you can! Introducing my Redstone Crafting Machine!!! It will take 9 items, and give you another item in return! It has a lot of customization too! You can have 1-4 buttons, have some redstone lamps visible to tell you whether the machine is in use or not, or you can hide all of it(except for 1 button) and have a completely flush with the floor crafting station!
I think the main use behind this contraption is that it's a fun way to trade. I've always wanted a way craft custom recipes in survival, and now I can(if I was crazy enough to build this that is... :P)! However it doesn't have to be used for trading, I imagine it could also be used for a storage system if you're clever enough. :)

Features
Is capable of "crafting" items by taking exactly 9 items and giving 1 in return.
Stores the items used to "craft" in a chest below the surface where the machines owner can come to collect.
Can have 1-4 buttons to start the machine(at least one is required).
Can optionally have redstone lamps to indicate whether the machine is in use or not. They can be inset into the ground by one block, or they can be brought up one block if you want to invert the signal via a redstone torch.
Can optionally have a chest on the surface to store crafted items. It's definitely recommended to use the chest as items will otherwise come to the surface and despawn. If included, don't forget to add an extra dropper underneath the chest facing up!
Will recycle any items back to the player if something goes wrong. This way they don't lose their stuff and get nothing.

Drawbacks
Can't do multiple recipes at the same time.
All recipes MUST consist of 9 items, otherwise the machine could run into some problems.
Won't accept non-stackable items(like swords/bows/hoes/boats/etc) for crafting an item. They will be returned to the player.
Can only "craft" 1 item. As in: Only 1 item can ever be given in exchange for 9 items.
Can't have multiple recipes with the exact same item in the exact same slot. This means that if you have a crafting recipe with a stick in the top left slot, you can't have another recipe with a stick in the top left slot.
