USN Sentinel

The result of decades of development, the USN Sentinel is a revolutionary design of strike vessel that can travel over 200 knots (230 MPH / 370 KPH) while carrying an immense article of heavy artillery, as well as housing a fleet of STOL/VTOL fighter jets that can be launched with under a minutes warning. It was however embroiled in controversy during sea trials, when it mistakenly shot down Thunderbird 2 of International Rescue with a prototype ballistic missile. The investigation following the incident turned out to be extremely beneficial, as the delay in restarting sea trials meant it was still in the same area when International Rescue required its assistance in transporting Thunderbird 4 to New York City following the disastrous Empire State Building incident.
