The USS Armstrong is a starship from the Star Trek 2009 movie, the ship is seen as the USS Enterprise departs Earth Spacedock.
She was a part of the Vulcan Task force of her and other Starfleet ships on a mission of mercy for the Federation planet Vulcan. Upon arriving at Vulcan, the Armstrong discovered itself in a trap conceived by the Romulan Nero, and was subsequently destroyed during the destruction of Vulcan, along with the rest of the fleet by Nero's ship Narada.
