USS North Carolina BB-55 (Created by LemonGem3021668)
The USS North Carolina was the first "Treaty Battleship" Completed by the US Navy. Entering service months before Pearl Harbor, the North Carolina represented the finest the US had to offer, and was affectionatley known as the "Showboat" by her crew. Retired in 1947, the North Carolina survives today as museum ship in Willmington, North Carolina.
