How to install Minecraft Maps on Java Edition

This Map is made for Minecraft 1.18.2!

You will receve a warning every time you load the world, but you can easily ignore it and click "I know what I'm doing!"
Unfortunally this can not be turned off. This appears because Nether and End are generated completely as netherrack/end stone and minecraft does not want this.

This challenge is a little bit like SkyBlock, because you start with almost nothing only sourrounded by stone.
You can get almost everything, you can get in Minecraft Vanilla by Villager, Piglins and the Wandering Trader.
Because of that Minecraft is updatet frequently, there are always new features
getting added to the game. I try to update it as fast as possible, but I
will almost always have a little bit delay updating the map.

This map is 100% Minecraft Vanilla without any datapack!

You can get almost everything you can get in a default Minecraft map
You can get the most things you need by
- Trading with Villagers
- Trading with Wandering Traders
- Bartering with Piglins
- Fishing
Update Notes!
General:
If I apply changes to the map, it always has a reason, but you have to find out yourself.

Update Logs:
In the Update Logs, I will show everything that changes to the previous version. If I apply a change to the map, the change will be listed in the log - but not the reason why.

Map Versions:
Every Version has Its own number. The first character says, how often the whole world has been made completely new. The second number says, which content update has been released. The third number says, that the world got a small update, like a small bug fix.

There are currently no features announced

Things I want to do and I do not know how it is the best way
- Add Netherite (especially to the Nether)

New Features:
- Added a diamond to the start chest

Changes:
- Replace the Deep Cold Ocean biomes in chunk 0 2 & -1 2 with a Warm Ocean
- Updated the Map Version to Release 1.18.1

Bug Fixes:
- The Spawner and the Guardian Spawn Egg got lost but are now added to the start chest again

I was wondering how you can get the wandering trader to spawn. I did some testing in creative, but I cant get it to spawn.

Theoretically it should spawn, but you have to mine a quite large cave, so it has enough space. But wandering traders can be very rare. You could try to manipulate in the level.dat the trader spawn chance to have a chance of 100%. If it spawns it works, otherwise, i have to rework a lot of the map.

Could you possibly consider updating the map to have deepslate in the negative levels? Otherwise it’s unobtainable.

How do i get ores and villlagers and all that

Well, there are no ores in the world. You have to use and abuse other ways and mechanics to get these items. For example trading with villagers. You get them by curing a zombie villager with a golden apple and a potion of weakness. You get gold by smelting the golden armor, weapons and tools, which you get form your monster farm. A witch can throw a potion of weakness at you, if you are maximum 3 blocks away from it. If the zombie villager is next to you (maby in a boat), it will get the effect too.
If you need help, you should first see the minecraft wiki (please in english, in other languages, there is information missing and sometimes wrong information). Of course you can ask here too.

Really cool indeed! I'm quite stuck now, so can you maybe give me a hand?

I have infinite water, but I can't figure out what's next. I want to build a Nether portal, but for that I need extra lava. For extra lava, I think I need dripstone, which I need from the trader. For the trader, I need emeralds. But for emeralds, I need villagers. And in order to get a villager, I need gold for a golden apple, which I can only really get in the Nether.

So that's a loop with stuff I need... How do I proceed? Do I need to keep killing mobs for golden armor items to smelt? Or am I missing something?

You don't need to enter the Nether in order to get gold.
You can get gold from the overworld, by...
...smelting golden armor and weapons from the monsters in your mob farm into gold nuggets. It takes some time, but it works.
