As I am making a typewriter, and I needed a fast and synced binary counter...I build one :)
The world download is in the schematic zip file! The SET function is ONLY added to the world download!
Specifications:
-8 bits (+1 tick delay for every next 8)
-2 tick response time
-World download provided with a 4 tick pulser (2 ticks off, 2 ticks on) AND a row of repeaters to see the outputed delay.
-Reset button to reset the counter to 0
-Reset works while input is spammed with any kind of signal.
-Set number function (Set an 8 bits number and press the button to send it to the counter)
I hope you like it :)
My typewriter will probably be finished in a few more days.

Update #3 : by Pieter12345 03/14/2013 9:40:33 pmMar 14th, 2013
Tested in Minecraft 1.5. The counter works fine, same delays, runs smooth.
The SET on the other hand, sometimes misses a few bits or gets totally stuck. I will probably update this when I update my server to 1.5.
