Overlooking the magnificent valley in country-side Montecito, this villa stands tall atop a mountain. This house is heavily inspired by David Chipperfield and Richard Mier, and uses an assortment of pillars in its facade. The spruce, snow, and sandstone blend well together, and with the lush landscaping, create a beautiful pallet. The layout was a tad dissapointed, but the popping furniture made up for this loss. A porch sticks out into empty space, creating a startling view of the valley.
