Don't know if someone already posted, but since I had a hard time founding a way to spawn the different professions of villagers, I tried to save them as Schematics and it worked! So here it is, to make your world more populated or to create more realistic adventure maps.
There is a world save and a folder with the 5 .schematic (Villager, Priest, Butcher, Librarian and Blacksmith).

You can make different villager types with CJB mod pack with the mobster wand if you right click the villager (the link to CJB mod pack (link is www.minecraftforum.net/topic/240772-v11-cjb-mods-v532-07-01-2012/)

thanks buddy, but with a mod you can't use it if the mod hasnt updated for the version you're playing, but with mcedit you can import to any world and version (that can have villagers) =]

in the map you can see the signs... but you should take your texture pack into consideration, since they may vary
