A Christmas adventure map unlike any other. DoubleUpGaming brings you a magical experience this holiday with Christmas - An Awakening. The game is set in the luscious north pole hemisphere deep within Santa's workshop and village, you your self are an elf that has been awakened from a deep cryogenic sleep, however what exactly have you awakened to?

This Minecraft Christmas map has been built making use of all that 1.8+ has given us including:

Fully Narrative driven Adventure map with Resource pack

In the map we have spent hours perfecting the voices and cut scenes within the game - Be prepared for comedy, drama and emotion in the epic tale of a young elf's awakening from his deep sleep.

Wave Boss fighting system

In a build up to dramatic events, we have implemented a fully operational Wave Boss system in which you will need to fight off against wave after wave of enemies with the little resources you have.

Slow motion action scenes

Well... you will just have to find out for your self, trust us on that.

Elf trading cards have now been implemented into the map, some are easy to find others are much harder, you will also receive candy for finding them based on their rarity .

Please make sure you are playing the map in Minecraft version
1.8+ ONLY MAP

Playing outside of adventure mode will break the map
You MUST have audio turned up
Render distance has to be over 12+
x64 Texture pack - play with optifine or mc patcher to get full effect

Audio Settings for the map need to be as follows however sound master volume can vary depending on comfort. The map also sounds alot better with headphones

Video Settings It is very important that your render distance it set to 12 Chunks or more. You can also set your brightness to 80% for maximum effectiveness

As of yet subtitles have not been added, so yes audio is important

Why do you demand I need to use these settings?!

We have tried and tested the game over and over again and the results have shown that using these settings will give you the best experience, besides the fact that going any lower than 12 chunks will not render all of the red stone within the map thus rendering the adventure map useless.

POSSIBLE BUG ALERT: We are currently experiencing a random bug which tells you it is the end of wave four even though you have not even got to that part yet - if this happens please just throw away the c4 for now and forget about that message until we have fixed it, that would be great.

(and a few minor bug fixes, but who cares about these?)

Frozen Betrayal

Although only dealing minor damage this beast of a weapon costs as little as 50 Candy and will give you an immense speed boost. Crafted in the very factories you explore this item is great for low candy wielding players that really need a weapon

+10 % Health
+28% Movement speed
Only 5 Damage

Snow Reaper

It has been said that this weapon uses your up your soul to use as much force against your enemies as possible. It is unknown how it reached the realm of the ice kingdom shop however many have speculated that death himself placed it there for care

16+ Damage!
-50 % Health
-15% Movement speed
