Void Anvil is a void survival map designed for minecraft 1.14.

The story: One day you just wake up on a floating anvil, in the middle of literally nothing. The anvil seems pretty unstable.

The map's main design principles which set it apart from other void survival and skyblock-style maps are:
-All current renewable resources are available.
-No secondary islands of any kind, in any dimension, though portal usage will generate the receiving end.
-Pure Vanilla mechanics only, no mods/datapacks.
-Mobs spawn like they do in a normal world, including the dragon.
-Make things a challenge, and require usage of rarely used mechanics, but avoid extreme grind.

To fulfill these conditions, a 4000x4000 block area in each dimension was generated in the vanilla game, then all the blocks were removed, leaving the biomes and structure spawning areas intact. The world border was set to prevent leaving this area.

The starting equipment which can be seen in one of the pictures may seem random, but has been carefully chosen, and is all that is needed. (And some things to reduce the grind)

Additionally the player is given a coordinate book for various biomes and structures, and a hint book in case they get stuck.

The map can be played as a challenge with the goal of building a beacon pyramid, or as a general sandbox map, and is suitable for both single-and multiplayer.

The large size of the area resulted in a relatively large (576mb) download size, so only a mediafire link is available.
