Resting next to an old river town, Walders Cemetery is one of the oldest cemeteries and burial grounds in the New Walden Area, hosting a number of historic figures from revolutionaries to civil war veterans. The site became a host of activities following the state funeral of Governor Craig Small in 2075 in the aftermath of his assassination by communist assassins. His burial was followed by the renovation of the Small family mausoleum, which was one of the first plots to be made in the cemeteries now sprawling underground crypts. A year on from such events, the cemetery and neighbouring church have seen an uptick in visitors spurring hopes of regeneration to the local area's economy.
