I wanted to share something that I've been working on for awhile now. This is a faithful recreation of the entire factory from the 2005 film "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". The factory is fully explorable from start to finish through all of the locations seen in the movie. I tried my best to make this the most accurate Wonka factory recreation in Minecraft, though there are some areas where things had to be modified a little.
In addition to the "movie tour", I have set aside many areas where I plan to make additional rooms based off of the official concept art list of the 400+ rooms that were made for the glass elevator scenes. Once I get many of these rooms built (aiming for 50 or so) I'll release a map download so anyone can explore the factory.

I really need to get better updating on here!
Progress has been very steady! I don't have as much time to work on the build as I used to, but I still try to manage an hour or so a day working on it. Four new rooms and a new hallway/corridor have been built since update #16. While I am still trying to keep many of the new additions a secret, these new rooms and hallway furthers my goal of making the factory feel like a giant maze with more stuff to see than you could possibly imagine. In fact, this entire new area of the factory won't even be found unless you fully explore a completely separate area of the factory! Initially I thought this would be a bad thing, but I try to make the build intentionally confusing (though not frustrating) to get around; that feels very "Willy Wonka-esque" to me. I have some really cool ideas to work on next, so stay tuned for that! Oh and I rebuilt the entire chocolate river boat ride haha.
