[WIP] Astarion RPG

Hello Minecrafters!

I'm Geolomus, i'm 15 years old and i live in Belgium. Together with my brother(13), i've created a city called Isturia. Our main objective is to create a role-playing server with the best experience Minecraft can give. But therefore we need you!
Table of contents:

1.What's the project all about?

The project is to create a big medieval/semi-fantasy world, called Astarion. There will be different kingdoms, counts, factions etc. With lots of attention for architecture and realism. A unique world created by the players fantasy.Like i've mentioned before we want to give you the best experience as possible, so we'll need plugins, resourcepacks and maybe... mods(with a custom launcher ofcourse ;D). But we also need you!

2. Who do you need?

First of all we need builders, higly talented and skilled people to help us building the cities, towns, villages, keeps and setlements. It doesn't matter whether you build Gothic, Nordic, New-Roman, Middle-European medieval, Eastern. You can get your own city or join a building squad in another city. You will get mentioned in the server with a special rank and other benefits.

What's a building squad? Well a building squad is a team of 2-5 people who build a city (and its region ofcourse) together. You can join either which squad you like but you must build in the same style! All the building squads are getting managed by me.

Second, we need terraformers, guys who can create massive landscapes, both creative and realistic. You will get the plugins you like, and all the freedom you can imagine. One disadvantage is that the map was built in WorldPainter, but i'm sure that you guys can handle that Posted Image

What do you need to do as a terraformer? As a terraformer yo will get asked to do some landscaping for ther builders, or create a huge wilderness, but also creating battlefields. It's a diverse job, isn't it?

Also we need artists, guys who can make machinimas, headers, banners, cool screenshots for the site. They will work closely with all the parts of the server team. They are the advertisers for our server.

Then we need, writers! People that have an huge fantasy, and writers skill. I do have certain ideas, and historical facts(about the server). But apart from my ideas you have all the freedom you can imagine. You may write the server lore but also in-game you can have a bookshop and sell books to everyone. You will be part of the event team. Also the wiki is getting writed by you. So a big job but i'm sure that you can do it!

Further on the list we have: coders. Weaponed with Java they conquer the world of plugins and mods! Their task is to keep player and staff happy with new game mechanics and custom plugins, but also modify other plugins to our needs. You are the core of our server!

Ofcourse we need moderators, maturity and experience is their skill. They have to point people on the rules and keep the game cool for everyone, communication is very important here! They have to keep in touch with the other teams for reporting bugs, things that need to get fixed etc. You must also be a walking command encyclopedia, a mod that doesn't know his commands, not done.Last but not least, anyone who can create a resourcepack for a more custom experience.

4.Do you have any future plans?

Yes, ofcourse we have. We have a great idea of creating a big RPG server network. With more things to discover.We want to create a:
-Roman/Greek RPG
-Industrial/Western RPG
-Renaissance RPG
-Modern RPG
-World Wars RPG

5.How long before the server opens?

If our team stays as it is now we expect Christmas 2017. But with your help it could be here in spring 2014!
